Pertubuhan Harapan Biru Sabah (Blu Harapan)

During the SAC 2023, our project partners and sponsors—Control Union Malaysia, Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES), FGV Holdings Berhad, Dibiz Global, CarbonSpaceTech, Veridapt Pty Ltd, EPIC Berhad, the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC), and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Malaysia—donated the remaining event funds amount of MYR50,000.00 to Blu Harapan (BluHope). This donation will kickstart the Kota Kinabalu and Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park Plastic Neutrality and Fish Bombing Prevention Initiative.

We believe our project can catalyze essential changes by addressing mismanaged plastics, preventing ocean pollution, providing alternative job opportunities for those involved in fish bombing, promoting education and capacity building, ensuring clean water for children, restoring coral reefs, and enhancing local livelihoods and tourism. Achieving these ambitious goals requires strong partnerships across the public, private, and community sectors. We are confident that the Sabah community will come together to create a significant impact.
